Safety Fences

Got a pool or thinking about getting one? Then you need to think about safety fences as well.

Keep 'Em Safe
Remember when safety fences around a pool were unheard of? The most you ever had to have was a fence around your yard to keep kids (mainly kids in your neighborhood) from drowning in your pool. But pool safety fences add an extra measure of security. First of all, some people only put chain link fences around their yards, but kids who want to get in your pool on a hot summer day will climb that fence and have a pool party while you're away. That's just rude, but more importantly, someone could get hurt. Kids can get wild and accidents can happen. If there's no adult supervision, you could be held responsible. That's why pool safety fences are so important.

Granted, if you have a tall privacy fence, it's a lot more difficult for kids to get in your yard and pool area, so adding a pool fence is a good idea. They fit around the perimeter of your pool and they lock. They're really tall, and since they are made of a mesh material, they're impossible to climb. If you think they're an eyesore and would ruin any pool parties you might want to have while the kids are away, relax. Most pool safety fences are removable, and it's not hard to do. It's well worth it if you want to keep your pool area a place of fond memories rather than a place where there was a tragedy.
